Organic Delivery FAQ

I will update this site when you do!
I know the amount of vegetables included in a delivery will vary based on what's growing and how well it's doing, but could you give me an idea of what might be included in one delivery?
When we start up again in January, we will have the Winter veggies coming in. A typical delivery might have broccoli, a full head of lettuce, bunch of swiss chard, bunch of kales and green shallots. We try every week to get 4 to 7 items in the share. It makes cooking more interesting that way! The Winter shares never have the weight that a Summer share does, but it still covers a families needs.
The full year comes out to be $900, but it is a longer season. It will now be 36 weeks instead of 27, which was what we did in 2011. Last year's yearly cost was between $540 to $580 depending fruit options you may have added. The weekly cost for 2012 is $25 a week.
Is there any fruit option this year?
The fruit is included in the weekly price. We will be growing strawberries early in the year and honeydew and cantaloupes later in the year. When the fruit is harvested they will be included in the weekly share.
I am on a fixed income and wonder if it is possible to make payments along the way?
Yes, we have the 36 week season broken up into three $300 payments.
Payments by check can be broken up into 3 payments. Please send checks at the following dates.
November 1, 2011 = $300 (Update: Memberships are still available.)
February 1, 2012 = $300
May 1, 2012 = $300
Where can I mail my check?
